Kerry Group has dismissed rumours of disquiet among its shareholders despite considerable opposition to the reelection of directors at its annual general meeting last week.

Kerry Group has dismissed rumours of disquiet among its shareholders despite considerable opposition to the reelection of directors at its annual general meeting last week.

A significant minority of shareholders voted against the reelection of the directors of Kerry Group at the agm. In certain resolutions, the opposition was as much as 20per cent.

There was also a similar vote against approving the remuneration report for directors. However, all directors were re-appointed.
