Taoiseach Enda Kenny has rejected opposition calls to recall the Dáil from its summer break to discuss Israel’s attack on Gaza.

Both Sinn Féin and Fianna Fáil have been seeking to get TDs back into Leinster House next week, following the state’s decision to abstain on a United Nations vote for an international inquiry into Israel’s offensive in Gaza.
