Kenmare shares hit by production problems

UPDATE: Irish titanium miner Kenmare has said that final output at its Moma mine in Mozambique in January was lower than expected.

Irish titanium miner Kenmare has fallen 6.5 per cent in early Dublin trading after it said that final output at its Moma mine in Mozambique in January was lower than expected.

It said that the reason for this was the continued effect on mining of a band of clay rich ore and the impact of exceptional adverse weather conditions. These issues continued to impact in February, the company said in a statement.
