Kenmare ramps up expansion as shipments increase

Irish mining company Kenmare Resources has said that all major expansion facilities are in ramp-up mode as shipments during the second quarter increased to 245,600 tonnes.

Irish mining company Kenmare Resources has said that all major expansion facilities are in ramp-up mode as shipments during the second quarter increased to 245,600 tonnes.

That marked a 406 per cent increase from the 48,500 tonnes shipped during the first quarter.

The company said that the uneven nature of global economic activity continues to drag on market prices. Market conditions are improving in the rest of the world, particularly in the United States, but Chinese economic activity...
