Kerry firm Kush Shellfish is bidding to become the first producer of certified organic rope mussels within Ireland and Britain. Set up more than 20 years ago by local brothers John and Flor Harrington, Kush produces and supplies mussels, Gigas oysters and periwinkles grown along the tranquil waters of Kenmare Bay to national and international markets.
