Online applicant tracking systems allow companies to streamline their recruitment process and save money, writes Dermot Corrigan

A growing number of employers are turning to automated online systems to manage the recruitment process.

A web based applicant tracking system (ATS) can be used to manage all stages of the hiring process, according to Paul McCusker, chief executive of recruitment systems provider Candidate Manager.

‘‘We manage the workflow for clients: everything from first raising a requirement for a new position right through to feeding someone into your HR system,” McCusker said....
