There is a growing divide in society, one based largely on when you were born and in Ireland, it acutely manifests in terms of housing.

A book by Laurence Kotlikoff (a Boston University economist and lesser-known US presidential candidate in 2016) called The Clash of Generations spells it out clearly. In Britain, they even have a group called the Intergenerational Foundation which looks at these issues.
