Kapooki Games collapses with debts of €700k

Kapooki Games, a Dublin technology firm that developed games for the internet and mobile phones, has collapsed with debts of more than €700,000.

Kapooki Games, a Dublin technology firm that developed games for the internet and mobile phones, has collapsed with debts of more than €700,000.

The company, which was founded in 2000 by Michael Griffin, was wound up at a creditors' meeting in Dublin last week. Accountant Michael McAteer was appointed liquidator to Kapooki.

Investors in Kapooki have lost in the region of €400,000, according to the company's statement of affairs. Trade creditors are owed more than €300,000...
