Just Eat hits back of the net during World Cup

The Fifa World Cup, which concluded last month, provided a boon to sales for online takeaway business Just Eat.

The Fifa World Cup, which concluded last month, provided a boon to sales for online takeaway business Just Eat.

The firm said orders jumped by 10 per cent on the Sunday of the World Cup Final compared to the previous Sunday when there were no games. The most outstanding jump was by 25.3 per cent on the day of Uruguay and Italy's group game compared to the same day a week earlier.
