Just five per cent of Irish workers check their e-mail in bed, a new study has found.

It found that the Irish like a gentle start to their day with just five per cent logging on by 06:30 am compared to a third of British workers.

One-in-five employees worldwide have checked their e-mail by 07:00 am but in Ireland, three quarters wait until after 08:00 am to log in with 60 per cent of those logging on after 08:30.
