The jury in the Anglo trial will resume deliberations today on charges against the bank’s former finance director, William McAteer, and its former head of lending in Ireland, Pat Whelan.
Both Whelan and McAteer are accused of providing loans to investors and to the wife and family of bankrupt businessman Sean Quinn to buy shares in Anglo.
Both have pleaded not guilty.
