Johnson & Johnson subsidiary to invest $36m in Cork expansion

DePuy Synthes Companies plans to expand in Cork with a $36 million research and development investment and the creation of 38 high-quality positions.

DePuy Synthes Companies plans to expand in Cork with a $36 million research and development investment and the creation of 38 high-quality positions.

Minister for Research and Innovation, Seán Sherlock, said that the 38 new positions, primarily at Masters and PhD level, will be at the company's Ringaskiddy plant in Co. Cork.

The five-year project is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, through IDA Ireland.
