The move towards rental housing will have to be embraced by Irish society, sooner rather than later

This cultural shift towards the European norm is now very much a reality and needs to be actively embraced by our society. When you look at the census data from 2006, 2011 and 2016, we see a strong move to rental housing. The number of people in private rental in this period has increased by 100 per cent.
