Planned job cuts at Dell in Ireland will go further than expected, with up to 340 jobs at risk in the latest round of layoffs, writes Gavin Daly.

Informed sources said that the company would lay off up to 270 staff between its operations in Dublin and Limerick, higher than the figure of 230 reported last week. A further 70 jobs are at risk at Alien ware, a Dell subsidiary based in Athlone. Workers were told...
