Jewellers aim to sparkle at awards

A family business has picked up the first Irish nomination for the UK Jewellery Awards in five years.

Matthew Stephens Jewellers, on O’Connell Street in Limerick, has been nominated in the best new store design of the year award category for 2007.

The Irish nominee will face competition from a number of high-profile jewellers from Bond Street in London.
