Harcourt Developments, the property firm headed by Pat Doherty, is at the centre of a political row in Jersey over the development of a major waterfront project.

The Jersey senate voted in recent days to award Harcourt a contract for a £330 million (€418 million) waterfront development. However, the contract has been put on hold amid claims that Harcourt provided inaccurate information to senate members.
