Last week, Google’s Scott Jenson arrived at a conference in San Francisco, ready to deliver a keynote address. However, only about 50 people were in attendance. According to reports, he said: “I am Google. I do not speak to small groups.” And he left.

Poor attendance is disappointing, but the best speakers and performers never adjust their intellectual generosity based on the size of an audience, and they certainly don’t blame them...
