Jack and Emily top the list of Irish baby names again

Jack and Emily remained the most popular names registered for babies in Ireland last year, the Central Statistics Office said.

Jack and Emily remained the most popular names registered for babies in Ireland last year, the Central Statistics Office said.

Jack has been in the top spot for boys since 2007 while Emily has been the most popular name for girls since 2011.

James, Daniel, Conor and Sean completed the list of top five most popular names for boys while Emma, Sophie, Ella and Amelia made the list for girls.
