Businesses need to start using social networks to listen to their customers, not just to talk at them

Irish businesses are still struggling to get to grips with how to communicate on social media, according to Stephen O’Leary, chief executive at social media monitoring firm Olytico.

“A lot of companies are starting to get things much more right. The fundamental problem remains that social media is being used as a broadcast medium rather than for conversation,” O’Leary told The Sunday Business Post.
