IT Skills: employers seeking a range of skills

Companies will set up a foreign outpost or try to attract in talent to overcome IT skills shortage, writes JJ Worrall.

Tanya Duncan, managing director with Interxion: said some firms found it difficult to import talent.

Jim Friars, chief executive with the Irish Computer Society (ICS) Skills group, said that given Ireland's ''domestic and export capabilities a broad range of IT skills were urgently required among Irish jobseekers.
