IT Security: Complacency is real threat to security

The enemies of safe IT never sleep, so just because you have protection doesn't mean it can't be outsmarted, writes Ian Campbell.

One of the biggest threats to IT security is complacency, according to Michael Conway, director of Renaissance, a leading distributor of security products in Ireland.

The danger is that organisations have invested in a suite of antivirus software or maybe even a Unified Threat Management product and think the job is done.
