International Securities Trading Corporation (ISTC), the wholesale banking outfit set up by former chief operating officer at Anglo Irish Bank, Tiarnan O’Mahoney, continued to beat expectations last week when it announced half-year profits of €6.8 million.

O’Mahoney said the company was currently generating monthly operating profits of €1.3 million, but it would steadily increase this figure by around €120,000 each month in the year ahead.
