Roboticist Rich Walker, who will be one of the star speakers at the Intelligent Systems Summit in Derry in June, recently made headlines by creating a 'bionic man'.

What may be science fiction to many is science fact to Walker. A leader in the field of robotics, his Shadow Robot Company made international headlines earlier this year when they built the $1 million man, for the Channel 4 TV show, How to Build a Bionic Man.
