Aquaint red post box and old-fashioned telephone box mark the entrance to Belle Isle Castle on a quiet country road in Co Fermanagh. It's a modest scene that belies what's beyond - a 470-acre estate with an imposing 17th century castle on the shores of Lough Erne.

The castle, which is set over a bridge at the end of a long, winding driveway, is anything but modest. It's a striking building that's steeped in history....
