Irish Water will cut a further 1,200 jobs by 2021, according to a new business plan for the company published today.

Ervia, Irish Water’s parent company, said it will invest €5.5 billion in bringing the national water infrastructure to “an acceptable level after decades of underinvestment through a fragmented industry structure” while achieving savings of €1.1 billion.
