Irish Voice owner buys Irish Emigrant, says NYPost

Niall O'Dowd is expanding his publishing interests, according to an exclusive report in the New York Post.

Prominent Irish publisher Niall O’Dowd, owner of the Irish Voice and Home and Away newspapers, has bought a Boston-based rival, The Irish Emigrant, according to the New York Post.

The report said O’Dowd planned to place the Boston title under the umbrella of the website

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed but it was estimated to be in the mid-six-figure range, the paper said.
