Irish start-up prepares for US launch

Sendmybag, a business that promises to save travellers a fortune on excess baggage fees, went live in Ireland last week and has its sights set on the US market, its Bangor-born chief executive Adam Ewart said.

The company aims to transport 30,000 bags from here all over Europe over the next year. It is already up and running in Britain.
