Irish sports injury start-up to focus on US
Kitman hopes to join big leagues after it raises $4m.
Kitman Labs, an Irish start-up whose software is designed to reduce the risk of injury in professional athletes, is targeting the US market after raising $4 million (Euro 3.1 million) from investors.
The company's athlete management system uses statistics, scientific research and industry experience to help trainers highlight and predict potential injuries in athletes. Last year, Kitman Labs expanded into Britain, and is now used by both rugby and Premier League football clubs, including Everton.
