Irish show well in BAFTA nominations

There will be plenty of Irish interest in the prestigious BAFTA awards this year, with four Irish film-makers nominated in various categories.

There will be plenty of Irish interest in the prestigious BAFTA awards this year, with four Irish film-makers nominated in various categories.

Martin McDonagh's Seven Psychopaths, starring Colin Farrell, was included in the Outstanding British Film category. McDonagh both wrote and directed this film.

Also nominated in this category was the period drama Anna Karenina, which stars Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson.
