The Irish services sector grew at a slightly faster rate in September as new orders strengthened but remained short of July’s nine-year high, new figures show.
The Investec purchasing mangers’s index (PMI) for the services sector rose to 62.4 in September from 62.1 but was below the 63.4 level recorded in July. It still remains well above the 50 level that separates expansion from contraction.
