Irish satellite broadband provider increases capacity

Irish satellite provider QSAT has acquired capacity on the first superfast broadband satellite launched in Europe.

Britain’s Avanti Communications Group , announced the sale of capacity on HYLAS 1 to QSAT in a seven year deal worth a minimum of £9.3 million (€11.2 million) and up to £13.6 million.
