Irish rugby will earn between €6 million and €8 million from this year’s Heineken European Cup, although no Irish province reached this afternoon’s final in London.

The European Rugby Cup (ERC), the Dublin company that runs the tournament, is on target to pay dividends of more than €25 million to the six shareholder unions from the 2006/2007 season.
