The traditional sport of "bowling" on Irish roads is getting some rare global exposure thanks to enthusiasts in West Virginia in the US who have adopted it as a pastime.
US news agency Associated Press is running a piece today about the sport, of which it says: "Grown men and women hurl a 2-pound cannonball as far as they can down a paved country road."
