Irish renewable energy company raises €65 million for onshore wind projects

Gaelectric: has secured funding.

Gaelectric, the Irish renewable energy generation and energy storage group, has raised €65 million in funding for its portfolio of on-shore wind energy projects on the island of Ireland.

The projects comprise 164 MW of generation capacity across 13 projects, which the group plans to develop by 2017. It represents a total investment in the region of €250 million.
