Irish Nationwide Building Society (INBS) is close to completing an audit of its membership base to ensure individuals with multiple accounts do not receive more than one windfall payment when the society demutualises.

Irish Nationwide Building Society (INBS) is close to completing an audit of its membership base to ensure individuals with multiple accounts do not receive more than one windfall payment when the society demutualises.

But it also faces a new hurdle in changing its status following the publication of the Finance Bill last week, which contained a provision that will force it to contact every account holder and log their Personal Public Service (PPS) number.
