Irish Life chief executive Gerry Hassett has warned that there is a “crisis of confidence” on pension policy in Ireland, according to a Bloomberg report today.

Irish Life chief executive Gerry Hassett has warned that there is a “crisis of confidence” on pension policy in Ireland, according to a Bloomberg report today.

He says the pension industry has been asked to do too much and that the pension levy hit his company’s profit in the first half of the year by €13 million. Hassett made the comments in an email.
