Irish-language daily Lá has blamed political pressure from unionists for delays in receiving funding, which has caused it to lay off two of its 11 staff.
The funding delay has also forced the Belfast newspaper to stop using freelance contributors and only produce a print edition on four days a week instead of the five days it had been publishing.
