Irish interest in St Lucian scheme

The Irish developer of a €490 million property and leisure development on the Caribbean island of St Lucia is expecting significant interest from investors here.

According to Tom Colton of Premier Corporation, 95 per cent of the buyers at the Sapphire Cove scheme so far have been Irish. They include the Chelsea and Republic of Ireland footballer Damien Duff, who attended the official launch of the development in Dublin last week.
