Irish hotelier plans Panamanian development

Xavier McAuliffe, the Kerry hotelier and owner of the Spectra Group, is planning a high-rise development in Panama City to capitalise on the tourist boom in the Latin American country.

Xavier McAuliffe, the Kerry hotelier and owner of the Spectra Group, is planning a high-rise development in Panama City to capitalise on the tourist boom in the Latin American country.

This week, McAuliffe will launch plans for the X-Tower, a 41-storey building containing a mixture of hotel rooms and apartments. Building will begin next March and is set to be completed within 18 months.
