Up to 50 more golf clubs are likely to close in Ireland over the next three-to-five years, according to a new survey.
The report by Farrell Grant Sparks showed that 43 per cent of Irish golf courses were currently under-utilised. It also showed that 93 per cent of all clubs in Dublin, and an average of 75 per cent nationally, had made capital investments in their facilities in the last three years.
