Irish garden shines at Hampton Court

There is nothing as exciting as an emerging new chapter, the book in this case being garden design. In recent times garden design has seemed in danger of boxing itself into a corner. Too many show gardens follow the same blueprint: decide on a focal point, throw in a quantity of hard landscaping and fill in the spaces with plants.
