Irish Film Industry: BAI rule change for production company funding

The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland has over €14 million to fund independent TV and radio productions, writes Emma Carson.

Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) is a regulatory body, but has an important part to play in creating indigenous audio-visual content - 7 per cent of the TV licence fee (€14.3 million in 2013) goes to the BAI to be disbursed.
