Irish Dairy Board (IDB) has posted a 29.1 per cent rise in profits before tax and a rise in revenue of 5.2 per cent to €2 billion.
IDB said that it had achieved record sales of its Kerrygold brand, with the total of sales rising 17 per cent and the volume of sales rising 3 per cent. It said that Irish dairy farmers had made record returns despite the tough economic environment.
