A chance encounter with a celebrity make-up artist has resulted in a range of cosmetics produced in Co Louth going on sale in Duane Reade and Walgreen stores across the US.

A chance encounter with a celebrity make-up artist has resulted in a range of cosmetics produced in Dundalk, Co Louth going on sale in Duane Reade and Walgreen stores across the United States.

The Elave range is produced by Ovelle Pharmaceuticals, which was set up in 1934 by the grandfather of the current CEO, Joanna Gardiner, and which produces a range of cosmetic and pharmaceutical products, including the Elave skincare range.
