Irish Continental reports lower revenue

Ferry company Irish Continental Group has said that its revenue fell slightly in the first four months of the year to €77 million while earnings before interest, tax and depreciation (EBITDA) fell to €3.8 million compared with €5.8 million.

Ferry company Irish Continental Group has said that its revenue fell slightly in the first four months of the year to €77 million while earnings before interest, tax and depreciation (EBITDA) fell to €3.8 million compared with €5.8 million.

The company that operates the Irish Ferries brand noted that its business was significantly weighted to the second half of the year when normally a larger proportion of profit was generated.
