The output of the Irish construction industry will decline by 3 per cent in 2013 following a 9 per cent fall in 2012, according to construction consultancy Davis Langdon.
The company’s annual review of the construction industry found that there were 4,000 housing starts and 8,000 completions during 2012, less than a tenth of the annual total at the peak of the market.
