Smart Telecom has become the latest broadband operator to enter the broadband arms race.

Smart Telecom has become the latest broadband operator to enter the broadband arms race.

The company has launched a 24megabits per second (Mbs) service for €45 per month, available in parts of Dublin and other urban areas around the country.

The company's existing customers of its 15Mbs product will be upgraded for free, according to a spokesman.
