Irish brands will this week get 24 hours to shine before a giant American audience, as the QVC shopping channel devotes a day to Irish design.

QVC operates two Irish-themed days a year,one after the Rose of Tralee and one near St Patrick’s Day, which between them generate about $28 million in sales.

This year will see a slight change of image for the Irish range after QVC hired Irish fashion designer turned branding...
