IRFU set for €5m autumn windfall

The Irish rugby team's coming matches against New Zealand, Australia and Romania are set to earn more than €5 million for the IRFU.
According to internal IRFU estimates, the union has budgeted to make between €5 million and €5.5 million from the three games, through a combination of ticket revenues, commercial sponsorship and television rights. The first of the three matches takes place at Lansdowne Road next Saturday, when Ireland face the All Blacks.
