Ires, the Canadian-backed property investment fund, is circling a portfolio of 761 Dublin apartments currently being auctioned by Nama.
The fund, a publicly quoted real-estate investment trust, is among the frontrunners to snare the so-called Orange Collection, which consists of 761 apartments across four complexes.
Danske Bank, the German financial titan, is also believed to be running the rule over the portfolio, along with Oaktree Capital Management.
